Aggregates

Lincolnshire’s Largest & Premium Aggregate Supplier

For over 25 years, Welton Aggregates Limited has been operating in the heart of Lincolnshire, growing to become the county’s largest and premium supplier of quarried and recycled aggregates. We serve construction, highways and concrete producers across the region, backed by a fleet of over 85 commercial vehicles that keeps material moving reliably, wherever and whenever our customers need it.

We’re leading the charge on sustainability and the circular economy, running two top-of-the-line wash plants dedicated to recycling operations, producing recycled aggregates in accordance with the WRAP Quality Protocol. Alongside our quarried and recycled aggregates, we offer concrete aggregates and a full muck shifting service, giving contractors and developers a single, trusted supplier for the full range of materials a project needs.

Our Quarries & Products

Highfield Quarry — Welton-le-Marsh, Spilsby, Lincolnshire

Highfield Quarry is one of our two Lincolnshire quarries, worked for its natural chalk. The chalk here is white in colour and formed almost entirely of calcium carbonate, making it a clean, consistent material for a range of construction uses. As well as our approved 6F5 capping material, Highfield Quarry produces a range of other chalk-based products, so please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

**6F5 — MHCW Compliant**

– Complies with the **MHCW (6F5)** specification
– Regularly and independently tested by Lincolnshire County Council’s Lincs Laboratory
– A dependable, locally sourced capping material, quarried and supplied entirely within Lincolnshire

Slate House Quarry — Hibaldstow, Brigg, Lincolnshire

Slate House Quarry, within the wider Hibaldstow Quarry in North Lincolnshire, is worked for its natural oolitic limestone — a hard-wearing stone made up of small, rounded grains cemented together, and naturally rich in calcite. This gives a dense, durable material well suited to sub-base and construction applications.

**Type 1 CL803 — Lincs Approved**

– Approved by Lincolnshire County Council as a **Non-Frost Susceptible Type 1 Sub-Base** source
– Complies with **Clause 803** of the Specification for Highway Works (MCHW)
– Sourced from a naturally hard, dense limestone — ideal for durable, long-lasting sub-base construction
– Backed by our own fleet for prompt, reliable delivery across Lincolnshire

Recycled Products

Our two dedicated wash plants sit at the centre of our recycling operations, turning inert construction and demolition material into high-quality, fully compliant secondary aggregates — produced in accordance with the WRAP Quality Protocol, giving our customers full confidence in provenance and quality.

– **Washed Recycled Pipe Beddings** — Lincolnshire Approved, washed and graded for reliable use in utility and drainage installations
– **Filter Medias** — Lincolnshire Approved washed recycled material, suited to filtration and drainage applications
– **Screened Topsoil** — produced to **BS 3882:2015**, ideal for landscaping, restoration and general soil-forming use

Choosing our recycled products reduces reliance on primary aggregates without compromising on quality, supporting the circular economy while meeting the same rigorous standards our quarried materials are known for.
